Our Manufacturing Capabilities
OEM & Private-Label Manufacturing
We can manufacture selected mobility and healthcare products for suppliers, care providers and commercial partners. Solutions can be supplied under the Active Mobility brand or developed as part of an approved OEM or private-label arrangement.
Product Development
Have an idea, discontinued product or equipment problem that needs solving? We can assist with product evaluation, measurements, material selection, prototyping and production planning.
Custom Fabrication
Our in-house capabilities include metal fabrication, welding, machining, assembly and component modification for mobility and healthcare equipment.
Equipment Modifications
We provide practical modifications to improve equipment compatibility, accessibility, positioning and usability. Each request is reviewed individually to determine whether the proposed modification can be completed safely and appropriately.
Small and Repeat Production Runs
Local manufacturing allows us to support one-off projects, small production runs and repeat supply without always relying on large overseas manufacturing quantities.
Spare Parts and Replacement Components
Where commercially and technically viable, we can reproduce selected components for discontinued or difficult-to-source mobility and healthcare equipment.
Locally Manufactured Solutions
Our local manufacturing program includes products such as:
Bed poles and support aids
Mobility and rehabilitation equipment components
Equipment brackets and mounting solutions
Ramps and access-related components
Custom frames and fabricated assemblies
Replacement parts for selected healthcare equipment
Equipment modifications for aged-care and healthcare environments
Custom solutions developed in consultation with care providers and allied-health professionals
Every project is assessed according to its intended use, manufacturing requirements, quantities and ongoing support needs.
From Concept to Completion
1. Initial Consultation
We discuss the equipment requirement, intended application, users, operating environment and expected quantities.
2. Assessment and Design
Our team reviews measurements, materials, compatibility, fabrication requirements and any available drawings or product samples.
3. Prototype or Initial Build
Where required, an initial unit or prototype is manufactured for evaluation before proceeding to broader production.
4. Production
Once the design and commercial requirements are approved, we schedule manufacturing, assembly and finishing.
5. Delivery and Ongoing Support
Active Mobility can provide delivery, installation, servicing, repairs and replacement components throughout the product lifecycle.

We work with:
Residential aged-care facilities
Hospitals and health services
Home-care package providers

Direct communication with the people completing the work
One-off, customised and repeat-production options
Mobility and healthcare equipment experience
Installation, servicing and repair capability
Reduced reliance on long international supply chains
Practical ongoing support after delivery
Our objective is not simply to manufacture a product. We aim to provide a complete, supportable solution—from the initial requirement through to production, installation, maintenance and future replacement parts.
Quality, Safety and Suitability
Mobility and healthcare products can involve important safety, clinical and compliance considerations. Each project is reviewed according to its intended application and the information provided by the customer.
Where clinical prescription, engineering certification, regulatory approval or specialised testing is required, these requirements will be identified as part of the project assessment. Custom manufacturing and modification work is subject to technical review and written approval before production.
